You know that there are lot of analytics plugins available for wordpress even google released a wordpress plugin called Sitekit.
Things will go well if you are looking just reports within wordpress dashboard but the real problem arise when you want to export the analytics in wordpress dashboard.
For example ,check the Sitekit Interface facilities in wordpress dashboard.
The first one is, Audience overview for the last 7,14,28,90 days
Next is, Top content over the last 7,14,28,90 days
Next to top content is Top acquisition channels over the last 7,14,28,90 days.
This Sitekit analytics plugin screenshot was taken in august 2020.
And there was no option to export this analytics within wordpress dashboard.

Purchase Monsterinsights and install it in your wordpress website. After Installing Goto Insights and click Reports.
And in the Reports section, here you can see the Export PDF report option.Click that option.
And MonsterInsigths will start to generate PDF Report.
And you will get like this
Another important feature is we can even add our own logo to the report.
Todo that,Goto Insights>>Settings
Click Advanced.
Not only about export you can also share the report as summaries (weekly) through email ( Upto 5 emails).
How to do it ?
Goto Insights>>Settings
Click Advanced.
Goto Export PDF Reports. And click Choose A different header image whereas the option is “Use the Default header image”.
The recommended image size is 300 pixels in width and 45 pixels in height.
Now, if you export the report you will get like this,
In Email Summaries, Enable Email Summaries.
You can add 4 more emails using Add Email option.
It is recommended to Enable HTML email templates for the best experience.
We can use custom logo on the Email summaries feature.The recommended image size is 300 pixels in width and 100 pixels in height.
Don’t forget to click Save changes.

After following the instruction it is working awesome.
I am giving an outline here, what are the details it will ask & what we have to do.
- First Install the , WPMail SMTP Wordpress Plugin
- Get Authorized redirect URIs,gmail API Client Id key & Client Secret key using Google API.
- Note:In OAuth Consent screen, choose the option Application type “External ”.Because we can’t select internal with a normal gmail account.
Though the above points are very outline but it is more than enough here in this article.
