Iaas means Infrastructure As A Service
Before seeing Iaas, We need to know Vendors.
Who is Vendor?.In general , Vendor is a person or company that sells goods or services.
What is Iaas?
A vendor/Iaas Provider provides access to Application, Data, Runtime, Middleware, O/S to consumer with some charges
Consumer can access above things using internet
Consumer have limited control to use network, security(firewalls).
Charges mostly will be based on usage (pay as you go! )
Vendor/Iaas Provider will take care of Physical infrastructure, Security, Servers and Storage.

Advantages of Iaas:

Saves Cost:No need to purchase hardwares for datacenters
Saves Time: Launching new product can be done fast because already prepared physical infrastructure.
Scalability: Capacity can be set to up or down based on demand.
