For my convenience i am choosing floating bar as my campaign type.
I am going to use basic template for this campaign.
Give a name to campaign. Select your website Next click Start building.
Click blocks I am choosing single column block and placing at top of the template’s column. Note that whole template is placed at bottom.
Drag & Drop Countdown Timer from Element Block to the Empty Column in the Layout.
I have selected static type and now selecting end date and end time . I have selected visitor local time as timezone & I am using remaining features as it is. Since we have used static type then by default the action will be no action while the countdown ends.
I am using simple Display rules for this campaign.Next go to display rules.Here we used one condition. The condition is if time on page is atleast 1 second & URL is any page then countdowntimer template will appear.
If you want to the perfect output for campaign Save the campaign from time to time.Next we are going to publish tab to change the status from pause to live.
Now go to your wordpress dashboard and go to the optinmonster plugin .Here refresh the campaign to retrieve this new campaign for this site.
That’s all .Check your site and see the coutdown timer is loading.
Setting up Dynamic Countdown timer in OptinMonster:
Here i am telling just the settings of dynamic type. because all other steps are almost same.In dynamic type end date and time denotes about the remaining days and time available. For demo purpose I am choosing 15 seconds.
Next goto Action tab and choose restart countdown as end action.
Now when you load the website ,the countdown starts and when it ends to 00:00:00 , again the countdown starts from 15 seconds.
